Noranda Primary School grounds are maintained and have been improved through a number of initiatives. The most recent additions have been the timber Nature Play structure, the Indigenous seasons murals, the new bike shed and the 40th anniversary mural.

Noranda Primary School employs a part-time gardener to keep the grounds looking neat and tidy. As can be seen from the photos below we have many trees in the school grounds. We have a hard-working P&C who have been working for some years to include a Nature Play structure in the school. It has been a very popular addition to the school grounds, the amount of students who play on it is testament to this. The early childhood area has also been upgraded with a nature play area and raised garden beds for growing vegetables. Our Your Move team has been promoting the merits of riding, walking and skating to school and have earned enough credits through their activities to install a new bike enclosure.

Students and teachers have access to environmental resources with the bushland, adjacent to the school, and a nursery enclosure where plants can be prepared for planting in the bushland and to grow vegetables.
